School Spirit Weeks bring with them all sorts of oddities. But in recent years, one particular themed day has become commonplace: “Anything But a Backpack Day.”

This day encourages students to carry their books and class materials in, well, anything but a backpack. C’mon, it isn’t that hard to figure out.

The results can get pretty crazy, as several TikTok videos reveal.

In this video, kids can be seen carrying their books in tires, stolen grocery baskets, a canoe and more.

It’s not just this school, either. All around the world, and in pretty much every school that has this themed day, the students go all out, throwing their books into anything even vaguely resembling a basket.

Every year, these videos will continue to be fun — until some student makes the unfortunate mistake of bringing their books in a gun case.
