Well it should be unexpected, but it is 2018 after all and Americans seem to be pro Bigfoot fan fiction because they just elected Denver Riggleman. Before being elected to congress Mr. Riggleman wrote Mating Habits of Bigfoot and Why Women Want Him.

Riggleman was running against Actress Oliva Wild's mother Leslie Cockburn for the 5th District seat of Virginia before winning with 53% of the vote. That means 53% of people in Virginia must be down to clown with some sexy Bigfoots.
