I lived in huge, sprawling metropolises all around the globe growing up. Then I moved to a sleepy little country town for college, and lemme tell you - it's DIFFERENT. City life and country life are two totally different beasts, and after 10+ years out in the sticks, I actually prefer the quiet pace of life in the country.
