When a long term employee got grilled by his new boss for leaving a legnthy shift three minutes early, despite arriving 20 minutes early, the employee decided to listen, and work exclusively his scheduled hours.

Low and behold the new boss's bonuses were based on productivity, something that significantly dipped once the employee and all his buddies stopped showing up early.

Perhaps the boss should have known that long term employees always know best.
