Ken and Karen Get Meme'd After Confronting Protestors With Guns Drawn

In St Louis yesterday, as protestors made a their way to the mayors house, they encountered Ken and Karen, protecting their property from what we can only assume thought was a "violent mob", come to steal their jewels. Soon after the images were shared on Twitter people started making memes and photoshopping the couple into fake movie posters.

You've probably seen this picture by now. It was posted on Twitter yesterday, alongside videos of BLM protestors walking through a St Louis neighborhood, on their way to Mayor Krewson's residence to voice their demands that the police who killed Breonna Taylor while she slept in her bed be held accountable. Well, these two who quickly were monikered, "Ken and Karen", whose reals names are Mark and Patricia McCloskey, became an instant meme.

What really makes this picture funny is they look as if they never actually held a gun before. Ken looks like so casual, he didn't even bother to put on his shoes before going outside. And you know Karen hold a wine glass the exact same way, only thing is she's probably more dangerous with the after a glass of red than she is with that little pea shooter in her hand. Her's probably isn't loaded anyways.

Someone on Twitter did some sleuthing and pointed out that the protestors may have gone through a gated road, though it's unsure if the area is off-limits to only through traffic, or pedestrians, this is where the cause for alarm from Ken and Karen came from. The protestors who were on their way to the mayors house to peacefully protest, were misinterpreted by the home owners. Good thing nothing serious happened.
