Taxidermy is controversial even when it's done well; should we stuff majestic animals just to gawk at? So when its slapdash like the abominations in this gallery, that just obliterates all the poor critters' dignity.

Seriously, these sorry specimens make my little cousin stuffing her teddy at Build-A-Bear look like Michelangelo! And if any of you aim to preserve an aquatic animal in the future, hopefully these examples will dissuade you. C'mon Manchester Museum! A model ray would have worked just fine.
