After almost 40 years, The Simpsons has finally been taken off the air — wait, what? It’s still running? What the hell other antics can they get up to at this point?

While the series may not be hitting the heights it once did, rewatching the first 8 seasons (or 9 or 10 seasons, depending on how much of a nerd you’re talking to) will still have you laughing your sweet can off.

Now, kick back, crack open a few Duffs and enjoy some of the wisdom of the Simpson family patriarch.
