As anyone who’s been on TikTok knows, China’s been on a big tourism push recently. From watching videos that tourist agencies post to the platform, it seems that the nation is trying to move away from the Google-banning, repressive country that exists in the minds of Westerners to a fun, carefree place where you can travel, take in the land’s natural wonders, and more — all while not being allowed to use Facebook.

Now, there’s been a new development on this front: waterslides. However, they also seem to have learned that not everyone can handle such intense play, which is why they’ve appeared to give this man a fish to accompany him on the ride.

Personally, I would have preferred a puppy, but I guess a fish will do just fine.
