Maybe not the best idea to laugh at the victim's statement surrounding a deadly DUI case. I don't know, that's just one man's opinion.

That's exactly what happened in a Detroit, Michigan courtroom a few years ago when Donna Kosal was found in contempt of court after smirking and laughing during a family member of the victim was giving a final statement. Kosal's daughter was awaiting sentencing for driving under the influence which ended in a fatality.

The judge clearly wasn't f*cking around anymore after both the mother and her boyfriend were laughing during the statement. The mother spent 93 days in jail for direct criminal contempt.
