As a kid, there’s not much you can do for fun by yourself. Pretty much everything requires your parents’ approval and monitoring — which, for a child, sucks, as the center of the “things parents like” versus “things kids like” Venn diagram is vanishingly small.

That means, as a kid, you occasionally have to make your own fun, and sometimes, almost kill yourself in the process. That appears to be the case here, where a kid’s playtime on his apartment balcony soon turned dangerous. Thankfully, a neighbor quickly stepped in to save the day.
