What's the deal with blocking traffic?

Don't get me wrong, I'm all for people protesting. But I don't think stopping people from getting to and from work, to hospitals, and wherever else their going is an effective way of winning people over to your side.

Well, that wasn't really an issue for these protesters who thought blocking a road with a rope – that they held in their hands – was going to be enough to stop traffic.

Spoiler alert, it wasn't. And they paid the price.
