The accident killed two people.

According to local outlet Excelsior, the accident shown in this video occurred on December 3, 2024 on Escárcega-Champotón highway, in the state of Campeche, Mexico.

No one knows what caused the first semi to collide with a pickup truck, but it’s suspected that a high driving speed and recklessness had something to do with it.

While we don’t have a clear video of the accident, we do have the perspective of another semitruck driver on the road, whose quick thinking helped him avoid being part of the explosion.
