Truly a fight for the ages.

Hockey is a sport where people can’t help but fight. Unlike soccer, where any sort of “fight” usually takes the form of “faking an injury and seeing if the ref believes,” hockey players genuinely punch each other in the head to resolve their disputes.

Occasionally, as this video shows, the ref even gets in on the action — leading to suspensions, an alleged broken nose and a strong likelihood that this referee isn’t going to be asked to officiate any games in the future.
